Are you looking to start or grow your career in bookkeeping and accounting? RSM Wagga Wagga is expanding, and we’re excited to welcome a motivated and detail‑oriented Bookkeeper to our team. Whether you’re an experienced bookkeeper or someone ready to learn and develop, we’d love to hear from you.
Working as part of our supportive Business Advisory team, you’ll be involved in a variety of bookkeeping and client support tasks. You’ll work closely with accountants and senior team members to organise, review and process client financial information.
This role is ideal for someone who is:

✨ Already experienced and wanting to take the next step in a collaborative, client‑focused environment.
In this role, you will:
Assist with preparing financial statements in line with accounting standards
Process, organise, and review client source data
Support the preparation of BAS, IAS, Payroll Tax, LSL Levy and other ongoing compliance requirements
Complete bank, accounts receivable and accounts payable reconciliations
Respond to and resolve client bookkeeping queries
Assist with managing client relationships
Apply knowledge of firm, industry and client trends to your work
Identify and communicate opportunities for process improvements
About you:

Ideal candidates will bring:Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience (Desirable but not essential)
Relevant qualifications (or willingness to work towards them)
Experience with Xero and MYOB AccountRight (or interest in learning)
A basic understanding of accounting (Dr’s & Cr’s, P&L vs Balance Sheet)
Basic GST knowledge
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and customer service skills
A proactive mindset and the ability to work independently
