Your Mission: 🚀


As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for gathering, understanding, analysing, validating and documenting the business needs of users on our platform. You will work closely with all stakeholders including Product Managers, Designers, SME’s, software engineers, and clients to help PropertyMe's customers become more successful. By ensuring that customers' needs (small, medium, and large) are clearly understood you will serve as the liaison between customers and engineers in translating needs into new product releases as part of PropertyMe’s Application Lifecycle Management (ALM). 

About you: ✨

You are an experienced Business Analyst with 5 or more years of experience with requirement gathering, modelling and process improvement and 2 or more years of experience as a software development analyst. You will have been working on high volume B2B and B2C web and mobile applications in a related or similar vertical, whilst identifying customer needs and developing solutions. Experience in, or exposure to, working in an Agile/SCRUM development environment. Exposure to or experience in the Real Estate/Property industry is advantageous but not essential.

About the Role: 💭

  • Work within the product management team to deliver and improve the Product ALM
  • Work with PM’s to coordinate and control the writing/re-writing of feature specifications  
  • Specify market requirements for current and future products/features by conducting market research supported by on-going conversations with customers and non-customers
  • Identify, map, and record business, technical and user needs  
  • Gather requirements from internal and external sources and participate in requirements elicitation workshops  
  • Translate requirements into end to end process workflows, user flows and high-level user stories  
  • Work with Product Designers during discovery to define scope and to create and validate mockups  
  • Work with Product Managers on product backlog refinement
  • Have the chance to wear multiple hats and stretch into different areas
  • Collaborate to prioritise key features considering complexity, business needs and user pain points  
  • Conduct gap/feasibility analysis and make recommendations to the business  
  • Liaise with third-party providers regarding integrations with their products and services, eg: portals, banks, franchisors, utilities, industry consultants 
  • Perform internal product demonstrations and training and take internal queries regarding 'how to' issues, product clarification 
  • Understand competitors' product/service offerings to ensure market leadership  
  • Other duties as required
