Shell Energy has an exciting 12-month contract opportunity for a talented Business Analyst to play a key role in delivering impactful transformative projects. You’ll work with a passionate team to improve processes, enhance systems and deliver meaningful change that supports both our customers and our business.

With respect, integrity and honesty, responsibilities include:

  • ·Gather, analyse and document business requirements using process flowcharts, use cases and user stories.

  • Identify solution gaps and design effective strategies to close them, including data migration requirements.

  • Engage stakeholders through meetings, workshops and clear communication of project deliverables.

  • Model business processes, recommend improvements and support the implementation of innovative solutions.

  • Analyse data and create reports/dashboards to inform decision-making and track project progress.

  • Support business readiness and change activities, including impact assessments and developing training/work instructions.

Here’s what you’ll need to thrive in this role:

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in credit functions (credit risk, payments, receipting, vulnerable customers).

  • Strong ability to manage requirements and UAT test cases within Jira.

  • Track record of delivering transformation initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent relationship and vendor management skills with the ability to influence using data driven insights.

  • A problem-solver mindset with a willingness to challenge the status quo to improve efficiency.

  • Understanding of the relevant energy compliance obligations including ACCC debt collection guidelines.

A tertiary education in technology, commerce or business with energy sector experience would be highly regarded.
