Engineering @ VivCourt: 

Engineering is the backbone of trading here. Our market-facing teams develop and operate trading strategies, while our infrastructure teams build the tools and systems that ensure smooth, effective trading operations.
We’ve laid a strong foundation, but plenty remains to be done. As an engineer, you’ll own meaningful projects - from refining systems to leading major upgrades - supported by a collaborative team that values well-designed solutions. 
We’re looking for pragmatic engineers who are fast when it counts and precise when it matters. The best solutions come from balancing speed and quality, an approach that supports all of our engineering decisions. 

What you’ll do:

You’ll collaborate closely with traders and risk teams to design, build, and support the .NET user interfaces that underpin our trading systems. You will:

• Develop and maintain WPF-based desktop applications for high-performance trading environments.
• Support existing WinForms components as needed.
• Connect UI to market and risk systems, exploring tools like Python or Go to tackle system-wide challenges.
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, improving stability, performance,  own features and projects end-to-end.
• Contribute to technical design discussions across teams.
• Work closely with traders, risk, and tech teams — clear communication and collaboration are key.

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of professional experience in C# development, ideally within trading or financial services.
• Strong expertise in WPF, exposure to WinForms.
• Confident working with large, data-rich UIs and optimising for performance.
• Clear communicator who works well across teams — technical and non-technical.
• A pragmatic problem-solver who values clean, maintainable code and continuous improvement.
• Comfortable taking ownership of projects, with some exposure to project management a bonus.
• Curious and open-minded — when the problem calls for it.
