This is more than a traditional category role.

You'll have genuine ownership of your category, with responsibility for product ranging, pricing, promotions, supplier partnerships and inventory performance. Your decisions will directly influence sales, profitability and customer experience across a national retail network.

If you're a Category Manager, who enjoys balancing strategy with hands-on execution, this is an opportunity to make a real impact within a market-leading business.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll take end-to-end ownership of your category, including:

  • Developing and executing category growth strategies
  • Managing pricing, margin and profitability performance
  • Identifying market trends, competitor activity and growth opportunities
  • Building and optimising product ranges
  • Leading supplier negotiations and managing key partnerships
  • Delivering promotions, campaigns and catalogue activity
  • Partnering with marketing to drive customer engagement and sales
  • Managing inventory performance and stock optimisation
  • Driving clearance and lifecycle management initiatives
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams and store networks to deliver commercial outcomes

Qualifications

We're open to candidates from a variety of industries, including automotive, retail, wholesale, trade, industrial, hardware or consumer products.

You'll bring:

  • Experience managing product categories, portfolios or ranges
  • Strong supplier negotiation and relationship management skills
  • A commercial and analytical mindset
  • Experience with pricing, promotions and inventory management
  • The ability to turn data and insights into action
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Automotive or spare parts experience is highly regarded but not essential.
