About the job:

The Change Management Solution Lead shapes and progresses Versent’s most strategic transformation opportunities by making sure the people side of change is designed with the same rigour as the technology solution. This role helps turn Advisory, Build & Run work into scalable, multi-practice programs by driving adoption, readiness, and measurable value realisation.
About the role:
This is a senior, cross-practice individual contributor role working with Growth, the Business Strategy Practice Lead, Advisory and Delivery leaders, and SMEs to create clear, outcome-led change strategies that clients can execute. It plays a visible internal role at Versent, helping teams consistently position and deliver change management as a critical lever for transformation success, not an optional add-on.
What you’ll do:

  • Lead change strategy on priority pursuits, ensuring adoption and operating change are addressed early and credibly.

  • Run discovery and shaping activities including executive interviews, workshops, and advisory engagements.

  • Define integrated change strategies with clear outcomes, scope, roles, dependencies, and measures of success.

  • Own the change components of proposals and executive briefings, including readiness, impacts, leadership alignment, and sustainment.

  • Influence win themes, commercial framing, SoW structure, assumptions, and client obligations to support shared accountability.

  • Design pragmatic, fit-for-context change approaches and artefacts, including:

    • stakeholder analysis and engagement plans

    • change impact and readiness assessments

    • sponsor and leadership alignment plans

    • communications strategy and narrative

    • learning and enablement approach

    • adoption and value measures

  • Strengthen pipeline by identifying change-led opportunities and embedding the “why change, why now” narrative.

  • Orchestrate cross-practice inputs so the solution integrates people, process, and technology, including build-to-run transition and operational readiness.

  • Mentor and uplift change capability across teams by sharing tools, reusable IP, and practical patterns for high-quality change delivery.

  • Provide governance and commercial assurance for change scope, deliverables, measures, and risks.

Internal change management (Versent)

  • Build internal advocacy for change management across Growth, Advisory, and Delivery teams by clearly articulating the value, outcomes, and common failure modes when change is missing.

  • Improve internal consistency in how change is positioned, scoped, estimated, and governed in pursuits.

  • Help embed change management into Advisory practices and pursuits

Experience and Qualifications:

  • 7+ years in change management, transformation, org effectiveness, consulting, or pre-sales leadership roles.

  • Proven experience leading change strategy for complex, multi-stakeholder transformations (business and technology).

  • Proven experience with showcasing the need internally for change management to be a part of projects.

  • Executive-level facilitation and influence skills, including sponsor alignment and leadership coaching.

  • Demonstrated capability across stakeholder management, change impact assessment, readiness planning, communications, enablement, and adoption/value measurement.

  • Strong commercial acumen, including value-based solution design, risk framing, and SoW creation.

  • Ability to work cross-practice and translate technical programs into clear people and operating impacts.

  • Experience mentoring Change Managers / Consultants or leading cross-functional bid teams.

  • Familiarity with enterprise delivery methods and transformation governance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Psychology, HR, Communications, Technology, or related field.

  • Certifications preferred: ACMP, Prosci, APMG

  • Exposure to AI-enabled transformation and adoption patterns (workforce impacts, ways of working, risk/controls).

  • Interest in learning operating model assessments and writing business cases to assist Business Strategy Practice Lead with practice capabilities outside of change management
