About This Role

                                                                                                         

We are seeking a Commercial & Contracts Manager to join our Legal & Commercial Team, ideally being based in Homebush, NSW or Brisbane, QLD.

This role will be a member of the Program Delivery Team is responsible for ensuring contract governance, control processes, including configuration management of the contract, subcontractor management, and related contract data requirements list items, are all complied with.

The Commercial & Contracts Manager is also the key contact for the Commonwealth’s commercial team, including supporting the resolution of contractual issues including disputes, interpretation, flow-down requirements to subcontractors, meeting contractual requirements and responding to correspondence.

The role we offer you:

  • As a valued partner, provide support to the Program and Project Managers, in the day to day administration of contracts.
  • Manage the Document Management System, including configuration management of the contract and CDRL items.
  • Manage insurance requirements supported by global risk management
  • Manage Australian Industry Capability requirements

Our ideal candidate has:

  • Deep experience in contract management
  • Sound experience in commercial management
  • Legal or business discipline qualification, or equivalent experience (ideal)
  • Experience with the ASDEFCON suite of templates

Security requirements

As the Australian Department of Defence is a major client, you must be eligible for SECRET (NV1) level Defence security clearance, and preferably already hold a current SECRET (NV1) clearance.
