Stake is looking for a Content Creator to join us at our Bondi Junction HQ, with a flexible hybrid working model (3 days in the office, 2 WFH).
We’re an Australian investing platform with a mission to provide a seamless and immersive experience that breaks barriers for ambitious investors. We serve a global customer base of 700,000+ investors, with more than A$5 billion in assets under administration.
At Stake, we break barriers in everything we do. Just like our customers, we’re driven by ambition. Our desire for continuous growth is what creates the collaborative and high performance environment we work in. Though we’re spread around the world, we’re a unified team moving towards a shared vision: to unleash the investor in everyone.
Join us as we continue to reshape the financial services industry, inspiring investor confidence and celebrating our wins along the way.
About this role
As Stake’s Content Creator, you’ll play a key role in sitting at the intersection of Stake’s community of investors and online culture. You’ll be engaging ambitious Australians in the thrill of the markets through platform-native content that resonates with our core audiences and places Stake firmly in the cultural conversation around markets and investing. Working with Stake’s media and marketing teams, you’ll help set the editorial agenda across our social platforms, finding new approaches to telling stories and building the confidence of investors of all levels of experience in a way that stands apart from the competition.
Further responsibilities include:
- Bring Stake’s brand positioning to life through compelling social-first content that resonates with newcomers and seasoned investors alike
- Diversify how our stories are told by collaborating with the wider media and creative teams to ideate, script, shoot, design, edit and publish content to our platforms that translates finance into simple, engaging and entertaining social media
- Be Stake’s cultural pulse. Stay up to date on social trends, platform changes, markets, and pop culture in Australia. Share, adapt and ideate with the wider team based on your knowledge of culture
- Implementing strategy and process. Work closely with the Content Lead to develop and execute Stake’s content strategy, including the processes and tools that can make us more efficient
- Plug into the wider investing community online as part of a two-way process that involves feeding through cultural trends, topics, opportunities and pain points to the wider team, as well as ensuring that Stake is a credible and welcomed participant in the online conversation around markets
- Run a well-oiled machine through analysing and optimising content output, using data and audience feedback to refine the creative approach and output in order to hit the department’s OKRs
- Work with the wider marketing team as a consultant on content creator partnerships and user generated content campaigns.
A bit about you
- A proven content creator. This can be either in-house, your own channels and profiles, or freelance. We don’t mind where you’ve been creating, as long as you have a portfolio of successful, high quality work that showcases a deep understanding of native content across social media platforms
- You’re technically proficient in end-to-end content production, including concepting, recording, shooting, editing, and publishing
- Culturally connected: you’ve got a deep, intuitive understanding of culture and the digital zeitgeist, knowing what makes Australians tick, talk and share online
- You can read and interpret content analytics to develop clear actions, attributions and optimisations for the business
- Financial services or regulated industry experience, or knowledge of markets (either as an investor or industry experience) would be an advantage
- Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally.
At Stake, we’re more interested in your attitude than your resume. If you believe this is a role you want to jump into, please apply and let us know why in your cover letter!
