Content Marketing Specialist

About Us

Total Synergy is a project management solution built specifically for small to medium-sized architecture and engineering practices that want real-time visibility over projects and finances.

Our software simplifies the hardest parts of running an A&E practice - managing people, time, and money. By bringing together project management, project financials, and analytics, we help practices boost profitability while reducing stress for their teams.

Headquartered in Sydney, we’re the preferred project management solution for our industry, trusted by over 16,000 users across ANZ, EMEA and North America. With new leadership and new investment, we’re scaling globally - and looking for ambitious talent to join us on the journey.

About the role

We’re looking for a creative content creator who can take ideas from our product experts and demand gen leader and turn them into clear, compelling, content that our customers actually want to read.

If you love creating blogs, social posts,
case studies, brochures and web copy that gets noticed - and you want to sharpen your craft in a high-growth SaaS business - this one’s for you.

What You’ll Do:

  • Create blog articles, customer stories, guides, web copy, and social posts that speak directly to architects and engineers.
  • Support product storytelling - work with the Product Evangelist, Product, and GTM teams to turn features and releases into content that shows clear value.
This means creating emails, Powerpoint presentations, one-pagers, landing pages, and anything that supports how we promote our product to the market.

  • Help fuel campaigns - create content for emails, events, and social media that helps Marketing generate and nurture pipeline.
  • Polish and refine - edit and improve drafts from internal contributors and freelancers, ensuring tone and clarity are always on point.
  • Be a content partner - collaborate with sales, onboarding, and customer teams to capture stories, examples, and customer insights.
You’ll own any story that needs to be told to the market.

About you:

  • 1–3 years’ experience in content writing, journalism, communications, or marketing.
  • Strong writing skills - you can take complex topics and explain them simply and engagingly.
  • An understanding of SEO principles and how to optimise content for search.
  • A collaborative, open approach - you like working with others to make ideas better.
  • You’re a creator. You are comfortable creating written, video, audio, and any type of multimedia to help spread the Total Synergy brand.
  • A growth mindset - keen to learn, adapt, and improve with feedback.
  • BONUS: (1) You’ll have design experience to bring your content to life. (2) A personal or professional interest in the built world, architecture, or design.

The role is:

  • A chance to grow into a broader marketing career while honing your craft as a writer.
  • About creating content that supports growth, not just filling a blog calendar.
  • Working side-by-side with experienced marketers and product leaders.

The role is not:

  • A “copy-paste” job.
  • Just about editing other people’s work — you’ll create, shape, and own.

Apply now. Let’s bring the industry along with us.
