The Project & Opportunity:

To support growth in the Wilton area, Sydney Water will stage the delivery of essential drinking water, recycled water and wastewater infrastructure services as part of the Wilton New Town project.

For this project, we are, seeking an experienced Senior Contract Administrator or Contracts Administrator to join this project. The role will be critical in supporting the successful establishment and administration of commercial contracts and agreements for the projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and supervise contract monitoring, contract administration and compliance.

  • Develop and prepare regular reports on the status of contracts.

  • Draft, prepare, and execute internal and external correspondence on contractual matters as required

  • Assist in resolving contract payment disputes and confer with contractors and other business units concerning contract payments and compliance.

  • Perform and/ or review contract payment and audits.

  • Compile and maintain all required contractual records and documents in accordance with contract requirements and Company policies and procedures.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Law, Commerce or relevant discipline.

  • Demonstrated ability to analyse contractual / legal issues and provide solutions through appropriate problem-solving techniques.

  • Ability to work collaboratively and positively with a range of internal customers and external suppliers.
