Job Description


The Director, People Business Partnering & Organisational Performance is responsible for ensuring Domain's people strategy directly enables the achievement of business objectives through workforce performance, organisational effectiveness and leadership accountability. 

Reporting to the VP HR, this role leads the HR Business Partnering team and is accountable for translating business priorities into pragmatic people solutions that improve organisational capability, productivity, employee performance and commercial outcomes. 

The role partners with senior leaders across the business to identify workforce opportunities and risks, drive organisational effectiveness, and ensure leaders are equipped to build high-performing teams. Through workforce insights, talent strategies, organisational design, change leadership and people governance, the role helps Domain build the capability required to execute its strategy, adapt to changing business needs and deliver sustainable growth. 

What you'll do 

  • Ensure workforce plans align capability, structure and investment decisions with business needs and growth objectives 

  • Use workforce data, performance metrics and business insights to identify risks, opportunities and actions that improve outcomes.  

  • Lead enterprise talent, succession and performance processes that strengthen leadership capability and organisational bench strength.  

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of HR Business Partners, setting clear expectations for commercial impact and business contribution.  

  • Partner effectively with HR COEs (Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits, Employee Relations, People Operations) to co-design and implement scalable, business-aligned programs 

  • Oversee complex employee relations, organisational risk and change matters.  

 

What you'll have 

  • Demonstrated success improving organisational performance through workforce, leadership and organisational effectiveness initiatives.  

  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to connect people decisions to business outcomes.  

  • Significant experience leading workforce planning, organisational design and change programs.  

  • Proven ability to leverage HR/ workforce analytics platforms and emerging technologies to improve workforce productivity and derive actionable workforce insights 

  • Experience leading high-performing HR Business Partnering teams.  

  • Strong employee relations and risk management capability.
