What's the role about?

The E-Commerce Marketing Lead is responsible for developing and executing the Company’s marketing strategies across various channels, including E-commerce and Retail. This includes responsibility for managing the annual budget and achieving device sales revenue growth targets for the Australian and New Zealand markets.

This role involves creating a structure marketing calendar, developing initiatives to drive visibility, and helping to expand the Company’s reach. This role works closely with key partners to ensure alignment and support for Assurant goals, collaborating on projects that benefit both parties.

This role oversees the Product Listing team to ensure accurate and engaging product presentations across all marketplaces, optimizing visibility and sales conversion.

The primary goals of this position are to maximize sell-through rate, nurture our client relationships, drive the best customer experience with the brand, customer promotions/engagement and maintain our top seller statuses across channels.

• Effectively manages product listings to ensure accuracy with a high potential to appear near the top of relevant search results.

• Implements merchandising and promotions strategy effectively to drive a high conversion with a most profit margin

• Develops and executes a marketing calendar to develop initiatives that increase brand visibility and drive revenue growth.

• Direct responsibility for revenue targets on Green Gadgets and key stakeholder in achieving revenue targets across other Marketplace and Partner channels.

• Plans, executes, and monitors targeted marketing campaigns to drive engagement and increase sales across all channels.

• Manages the marketing budget, directing investments to achieve optimal returns and drive market expansion.

• Implements and monitors marketing investments made on paid traffic, affiliate partners, social media and brand awareness to maximise Company profitability and growth.

• Oversees brand identity and visual presentation for Green Gadgets across all platforms, ensuring cohesive and appealing presence that conveys Assurant’s focus on product quality and sustainability.
• Assists in launching in new marketplaces, initiating new product releases and implementing new business.

• Provides visual and strategic support to wholesale partnerships, aligning materials with brand standards.

Does this sound like you?

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, ecommerce, finance or related field.
• Minimum 4-6 years of high-volume eCommerce experience especially with a major marketplace (Amazon, eBay, Catch etc…).
• Experience with customer service, supply chain, logistics, operations or another related field preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Intermediate level of experience with Microsoft Excel or another spreadsheet program required
• Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure and under deadlines
• Ability to work independently
• Fast learner and able to understand different IT systems
• Experience marketing and merchandising product across multiple online marketplaces
• Must be an excellent problem solver
• Must be well versed in handling multiple deliverables at one time
