Job Description

Your Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for an Executive Assistant (EA) to join KPMG's Leadership Support Team in the Newcastle office on a full-time basis.

Supporting the Geographic (GEO) Lead Partner, you will provide reliable, practical and professional executive support that helps the Partner stay organised, connected and focused on key priorities.

This role is ideal for a proactive and approachable Executive Assistant who enjoys managing the essentials well, building strong working relationships and delivering a high standard of service in a busy professional services environment.

Key Responsibilities

Executive & Administrative Support

  • Manage the GEO Lead Partner’s diary, meeting schedule and day-to-day administrative priorities.
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas and collate relevant papers or briefing materials as required.
  • Monitor and manage correspondence, follow-ups and key deadlines in a timely and professional manner.
  • Arrange travel, accommodation, itineraries and related logistics where required.
  • Support expense preparation, invoice processing and general administrative tasks in line with internal processes.

Client & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Coordinate client meetings, internal catch-ups and stakeholder interactions on behalf of the GEO Lead Partner.
  • Support the preparation and distribution of documents, meeting notes and follow-up actions.
  • Maintain accurate contact and client information where required, including updates to customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
  • Act as a professional point of contact for internal teams, clients and visitors.

Office & Team Support

  • Work collaboratively with the Newcastle office team, local leadership support networks and national teams.
  • Assist with basic office coordination, room bookings, catering and visitor arrangements as required.
  • Support local team activities, office communications and engagement initiatives when needed.
  • Help maintain a positive, organised and welcoming office experience for employees, clients and visitors.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

  • Build effective relationships with Partners, Executive Assistants, client service teams and business support functions.
  • Identify simple opportunities to improve administrative processes, communication flows and ways of working.
  • Contribute to a collaborative, inclusive and supportive team culture.

 

Your Experience

  • Previous experience in an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant or senior administrative support role.
  • Strong diary, meeting, travel and email management skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities with care and attention to detail.
  • Clear, professional communication skills and confidence in working with Partners, clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Sound judgement, discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information.
  • A proactive, practical and solutions-focused approach to daily support.
  • Confidence using Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Teams.
  • Experience with CRM systems and business management platforms is desirable but not essential.
  • A positive, adaptable and collaborative mindset, with a genuine focus on delivering great service.
