Job Description

We’re looking for a Finance Manager to lead financial accounting and reporting within our trade division.

Reporting to the GM Commercial – Trade, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring strong financial governance, delivering accurate reporting, and partnering with the Commercial team to drive performance and growth.

This is a high-impact leadership role with the opportunity to influence business decisions in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.

What You will do:

  • Lead all accounting activities for the Trade segment, ensuring accuracy, compliance and strong financial controls
  • Deliver a timely and accurate month-end close in line with Group reporting requirements
  • Own balance sheet integrity, including reconciliations and risk management
  • Prepare and deliver monthly reporting packs, including P&L analysis and regional performance insights
  • Partner with Regional Managers and the Commercial team to review performance and support decision-making
  • Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities
  • Ensure accurate tax reporting inputs (GST & FBT) and support audits and statutory reporting requirements
  • Drive process improvements, optimise systems and enhance efficiency across finance operations

Qualifications

  • CA/CPA qualified with a relevant degree
  • 5+ years’ experience in financial/management accounting
  • Proven leadership experience
  • Strong analytical, systems and Excel capability
  • Proactive, detail-oriented and commercially minded
