The Opportunity

Ready to step into a Finance Manager role and make your mark?

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious property finance professional to join the Dexus Retail Property Finance team as Finance Manager. The Finance Manager will play a key role in delivering high-quality property finance support and business partnering across the Dexus Retail portfolio. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the delivery of property and management accounting, budgeting and forecasting, reporting, and supporting risk and compliance activities. You will also bring a proactive approach to process improvement, continuously identifying and driving efficiency initiatives that enhance the way the team operates.

You will make an impact by:

  • Supporting the Senior Finance Manager in developing and coaching property finance team members, contributing to capability uplift and performance outcomes.

  • Driving the preparation and delivery of budgets and forecasts, ensuring inputs are accurate, complete and reflect key leasing activity, transactions and forward-looking events.

  • Delivering accurate, timely and high-quality financial and management reporting across the retail portfolio, including month-end, quarter-end and year-end requirements

  • Delivering accurate and timely property finance modelling and forecasting

  • Driving effective stakeholder relationships with Asset Management, Portfolio Management and cross-functional teams to deliver accurate financial information, insights and analysis to support decision-making across the retail portfolio.

About You

You are an experienced property finance professional with a commercial mindset who enjoys partnering with the business, influencing outcomes and finding smarter ways to work. Not afraid to ask questions or be hands on, you thrive in roles where you’ll have visibility, ownership and a chance to make an impact.

You will bring:

  • 5+ years of property finance experience

  • Demonstrated strong understanding and experience within property finance, property analytics and asset management.

  • Strong analytical mindset and commercial acumen with deep understanding of property finance and asset performance drivers.

  • Experience managing multiple stakeholder relationships and driving value through the delivery of key insights and analysis
