The Role

As Financial Controller, you will play a critical role in managing and enhancing our finance function. You will work across the full finance spectrum, focusing on group consolidations, reporting, tax, compliance, and strategic projects. You will help shape the future of our growing multi-entity business while mentoring a small finance team and providing commercial insight to the executive group.

What You Will Do

  • Lead group consolidations across multiple entities, including new acquisitions
  • Enhance management and KPI reporting to provide sharper business insights
  • Manage tax submissions across multiple jurisdictions (US/UK exposure advantageous)
  • Lead audits and ESG reporting, ensuring compliance with evolving requirements
  • Support M&A activity, integrations, and post-deal finance structures
  • Manage multi-currency, multi-national finance operations
  • Apply a commercial mindset, weighing costs, benefits, and value-add for the business
  • Problem solve complex finance issues proactively, often under tight deadlines or incomplete information
  • Provide mentorship to mid-level and junior team members
  • Drive strategic finance projects, including process improvements and performance frameworks

What We Are Looking For

  • CPA, CA, or equivalent qualified accountant
  • 7–10 years’ finance experience, ideally in mid-size or high-growth organisations
  • Hands-on leader capable of mentoring a small team while delivering strategic initiatives
  • Strong commercial lens: able to balance trade-offs and add real business value
  • Knowledge of group consolidations and reporting
  • Experience with multi-currency, multi-national structures
  • Prior work with tax compliance and submissions (US/UK knowledge a plus)
  • Knowledge of M&A, integrations, and post-deal work
  • Adaptable and fast-moving: thrives in a dynamic, changing environment
  • Skilled problem solver who creates clarity and solutions in complex situations
