About the Role

We are seeking a Forward Deployment Engineer (FDE) to serve as a technical leader and strategic owner of customer outcomes in complex enterprise environments.

Forward Deployment Engineers operate at the highest level of customer impact - leading architecture, driving execution, and ensuring customers realize measurable business outcomes from their data, security, and AI investments. You will embed deeply within enterprise customers to design, deploy, and scale Securiti’s platform across complex data, security, and AI ecosystems.

This role blends advanced systems architecture, software engineering, and executive-level customer leadership. You will operate with high ownership, navigating ambiguity and driving solutions from problem definition through production and scale.

FDEs are responsible not just for delivery, but for defining how success is achieved - shaping both customer outcomes and internal product direction.

What You’ll Do

Customer Deployment & Ownership

  • Own and lead complex, multi-phase deployments across cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-prem environments
  • Drive end-to-end customer outcomes, from initial architecture through production scale
  • Embed as a senior technical stakeholder within customer engineering and leadership teams
  • Resolve critical technical challenges across infrastructure, networking, and data systems

Solution Architecture & Strategy

  • Design and own scalable architectures for data discovery, classification, governance, and AI use cases
  • Define implementation strategies for large-scale, enterprise deployments
  • Translate ambiguous business problems into structured technical solutions and ensure performance, scalability, and reliability across production systems

Integration & Advanced Engineering

  • Lead complex integrations across customer ecosystems using APIs, workflows, and automation
  • Design and develop advanced custom integrations and “glue code” to bridge platform and legacy systems
  • Guide data pipeline design, ETL processes, and system interoperability at scale
  • Establish best practices for automation, scripting, and system extensibility

Customer Leadership & Executive Engagement

  • Own the technical relationship with customers, including senior engineering and executive stakeholders
  • Lead architecture workshops, design sessions, and executive-level technical discussions
  • Influence customer strategy and guide decision-making for high-impact initiatives
  • Drive alignment across stakeholders to ensure successful delivery and adoption

Cross-Functional Influence

  • Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Support teams to align execution with strategic goals
  • Serve as a key voice of the field, influencing product roadmap, prioritization, and architectural direction
  • Drive development of reusable frameworks, accelerators, and best practices across the organization

Mentorship & Practice Development

  • Mentor and guide Forward Deployment Engineers and junior team members
  • Elevate team capabilities through knowledge sharing, code reviews, and architectural guidance
  • Contribute to building a high-performance engineering culture within Professional Services

Documentation & Enablement

  • Develop advanced technical documentation, architectural standards, and deployment frameworks
  • Enable customers, partners, and internal teams through structured knowledge transfer

What You’ll Bring

  • 5–8+ years in a customer-facing technical role with strong ownership of architecture and delivery (FDE, Solutions Architect, PS Engineer, Consultant, etc.)
  • Deep experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and enterprise infrastructure and strong expertise in Kubernetes, containers, and Linux systems
  • Advanced proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, JavaScript, or similar)
  • Experience designing and implementing large-scale system integrations using APIs and distributed architectures
  • Strong understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases and unstructured data systems
  • Solid understanding of data security, privacy, governance, and compliance concepts
  • Experience with data access control, encryption, or masking within enterprise data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery)
  • Proven ability to operate in highly ambiguous environments and independently drive solutions end-to-end
  • Strong problem-solving skills with ability to handle high-severity, complex technical challenges
  • Excellent communication skills, including ability to engage with executive stakeholders

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with AI/ML systems, Generative AI, or RAG-based architectures
  • Background in data governance, DLP, DSPM, or privacy platforms
  • Experience with enterprise-scale distributed systems and large data environments
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (GDPR, SOC2, ISO 27001, etc.)
  • Experience with enterprise data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery)
  • Familiarity with enterprise tooling ecosystems (e.g., ServiceNow, Elastic)

What Success Looks Like

  • Large-scale customer deployments are successfully delivered and scaled within defined timelines
  • Complex enterprise challenges are translated into scalable, repeatable architectural patterns
  • High-impact use cases drive measurable business outcomes (risk reduction, compliance, operational efficiency)
  • Customers achieve deep adoption, expansion, and long-term strategic partnership
  • Field insights consistently influence product roadmap, architecture, and company strategy
