Job Description

  • Full-time, Ongoing position at HEW Level 5.
  • Hawkesbury campus with flexible working arrangements
  • Salary: $87,065 – $98,462 plus 17% Super and Leave Loading.

Deliver responsive HR operations that support a consistent employee experience across the University.

The Opportunity
You will provide high-quality operational HR support across the employee lifecycle, acting as a first point of contact for staff enquiries. Through clear, professional and timely communication, you will help employees access accurate information and navigate relevant HR services.

You will process a broad range of Tier 1 HR transactions, including onboarding, pay and entitlement requests, leave management, workplace health and safety processes, visa and mobility enquiries, casual academic administration, benefits, superannuation and payroll preparation tasks. You will respond to enquiries through phone, ServiceNow, Microsoft Teams and email, referring staff to self-service options where available.

You will maintain accurate employee records, prepare employment documentation and apply relevant policies, procedures and University instruments. Working with People Operations, HR Business Partners, Payroll and Systems teams, you will resolve routine matters, escalate complex enquiries and contribute to improvements in HR processes and knowledge resources.

What Success Looks Like:

  • Deliver accurate and timely HR transactions across key employee lifecycle processes.
  • Provide consistent, professional and responsive frontline support across all service channels.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and documentation in line with University requirements.
  • Resolve enquiries collaboratively and escalate complex or non-standard matters appropriately.
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, knowledge and service delivery.

About You

  • Certificate IV or Diploma in Human Resources, Business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in HR administration or operational support.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate employee data.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a high-volume environment, supported by proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms.
