About this role

As the IT Manager at Stake, you will lead the IT team and play a pivotal role in empowering employees, both in the Sydney office and globally, to perform at their best. This involves comprehensive management of IT infrastructure, including the configuration, deployment, maintenance, and monitoring of hardware, software, and network services. You will be responsible for planning and executing IT projects and initiatives, ensuring a reliable and efficient IT environment. Collaborating closely with the DevSecOps and Engineering teams, you will maintain a best-in-class tech stack at Stake, while also working with broader Stake teams to address their diverse IT requirements. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide on-site and remote IT support for Stake employees, and escalate to vendors or external support services where required
  • Monitor and troubleshoot issues with office IT equipment, ensuring that all equipment is in working order and provide support to employees
  • Oversee hardware lifecycles working with external vendors to acquire and dispose of hardware
  • Work with SaaS system owners to ensure appropriate configurations and controls are in place
  • Lead IT projects for both new and existing systems
  • Work closely with the security team to ensure a secure operating environment is maintained
  • Administer the core platforms used in the Stake IT environment

A bit about you

  • Proficiency in desktop operating environments (e.g., Windows, macOS).
  • Experience with Google Workspace suite (e.g., Gmail, Calendar, Drive).
  • Experience with SSO and IdP providers (e.g., Google, EntraID, Okta).
  • Experience with mobile device management (MDM) principles and practices particularly with JAMF, Microsoft Intune, and Action1.
  • Familiarity with the usage and administration of Atlassian suite (e.g., Jira, Confluence) within a business-critical context.
  • Experience with collaboration equipment and systems (e.g. Google Hangouts, Zoom).

At Stake, we’re more interested in your attitude than your resume. If you believe this is a role you want to jump into, please apply and let us know why in your cover letter!
