- Lead supply chain execution within the Development program and sit on the Block leadership team;
- Develop sourcing strategies and approaches to market for defence and aviation type goods and services;
- Plan, draft, execute and manage a range of contracts types of varying complexities;
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders;
- Build and maintain core relationships with key The Boeing Company focals;
- Maintain a relationship with suppliers and drive collaboration to ensure on time performance and compliance;
- Participate in risk identification, mitigation planning and progress and status reporting; and
- Ensure compliance with supply chain management and program corporate governance policies and procedures.
Experience/Qualifications
The right applicant will have a combination of the following competencies:
- Five (5) to eight (8) years' or more work experience in contracts management with prior experience in an engineering or project delivery organization being highly desirable;
- Relevant Bachelor's degree in law, commerce or business;
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills;
- Good working knowledge of the responsibilities and tasks performed in contracting and their interdependencies with other project activities (for example, engineering, logistics, finance); and
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
