Profile Requirements:

  • Basic understanding of IT systems, including Windows/Mac operating systems and common business applications
  • Familiarity with helpdesk ticketing systems and remote support tools
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality support
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to learn and develop technical skills across hardware, software, and networking
  • Relevant certifications (e.g. CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation) or equivalent practical experience are desirable

Core responsibilities:

  • Provide first-line technical support to end users via phone, email, and ticketing systems
  • Log, prioritise, and manage support tickets, ensuring timely resolution and accurate documentation
  • Troubleshoot common hardware, software, and network issues across desktops, laptops, and mobile devices
  • Assist with user account management tasks such as password resets, access requests, and permissions
  • Install, configure, and maintain standard software applications and operating systems
  • Escalate complex or unresolved issues to Level 2/3 support teams with clear and detailed notes
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including device setup and system access
  • Maintain knowledge base articles and contribute to documentation for recurring issues and solutions
