Engineering is the backbone of trading here.  We’ve laid a strong foundation, but plenty remains to be done. As an engineer, you’ll own meaningful projects - from refining systems to leading major upgrades - supported by a collaborative team that values well-designed solutions.

We’re looking for pragmatic engineers who are fast when it counts and precise when it matters. 

As a key part of IT Operations, you will manage the server and storage infrastructure that supports our trading business. This includes trading systems located at global exchanges running on overclocked servers, FPGAs, and low-latency network hardware.

Our environment includes a range of physical and hypervisor platforms, on-prem SAN/NAS storage (Hitachi, Dell, HP), as well as cloud storage and cloud compute. Precision timing systems ensure accurate synchronisation essential to our trading operations.

• With 5+ years in a similar role, you bring experience and precision to complex environments.

What you’ll do: 

• Ownership of Linux server and storage environments at Vivcourt
• Manage hardware lifecycles, plan capacity, and build high-performance systems
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to optimise outcomes and troubleshoot issues
• Continuously improve automation, monitoring, metrics, and backup strategies to improve operational capability and keep infrastructure reliable and scalable.
• Conduct research and testing and share ideas to create solutions where nanoseconds make a difference.
