The Australia & New Zealand (ANZ) Channel Sales Manager is responsible for leading our team of channel, inside channel and Inside distribution managers. The ANZ Channel Sales Manager must develop relationships with executives in our key partners, set direction and execute our ANZ channel strategy, and look for opportunities to grow our business through improved channel engagement.

Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree required (A combination of education and experience will be considered.)
  • Minimum for 5 years’ experience as a Channel Sales Manager with a successful track record of leading a team.
  • Successful sales experience with channel-focused company
  • People management experience
  • Proven track record of successful selling through the channel in a competitive marketplace
  • Knowledge of virtualisation technology, experience with VMware and/or Citrix is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with limited direction in a fast-paced environment; must be a high-energy, motivated self-starter
  • Ability to adapt to changes in roles and responsibilities
  • Experience working extensively with salesforce.com
  • Ability to analyse data and make recommendations
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time within assigned territory

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Leading a team of channel, inside channel and Inside distribution managers
  • Contribution to the ANZ regions revenue targets and goals by successful engagement in the channel
  • Developing and executing the ANZ channel plan across our four sales engines - SMB, Commercial, Enterprise and Cloud
  • Analyses market dynamics in an effort to maximize existing successes and to create new sales growth opportunities
  • Key to success will be working in collaboration with global teams to share and define best practices
  • Establishes and reports on metrics to measure team performance; correct deficiencies where necessary
  • Attracts, retains, develops, coaches and manages a team of channel, inside channel and Inside distribution managers within a defined territory
  • Recruits, hires and trains team members; fosters a successful and positive team environment
  • Works closely with the Veeam leadership team to drive collaboration, contribution, and success across the ANZ region
  • Development of the ANZ channel such that is recognized as best practice, with high performing partnerships that demonstrate strong loyalty and affinity to Veeam
  • Key to success will be working in collaboration with global teams to share and define best practices
