Your Team
This role sits within the Customer Office at CFS, within the Marketing Strategy and Transformation team in the Brand and Customer Engagement (B&CE) function. B&CE shapes and delivers brand, marketing and customer engagement strategies that drive customer outcomes and growth across Direct and Employer segments, supported by enterprise centres of excellence including Data & Analytics, Digital and Corporate Communications.
The Manager, Marketing Performance & Operations is responsible for day-to-day running of workflows and processes for the BC&E team. You ensure that teams can plan, prioritise and execute programs at pace with clear reporting that provides visibility of activity from intake through to delivery and optimisation.
Your Responsibilities
Operating Model Uplift
Drive execution of the marketing operating model uplift, embedding scalable ways of
working
Proactively identify and deliver simplification and standardisation opportunities to lift
speed, quality and effectiveness at scale.
Create end‑to‑end delivery clarity and consistency, giving portfolio and cross‑functional
teams the structure, visibility and confidence to execute at pace.
- Establish clear delivery structure, visibility and prioritisation discipline
Marketing Workflow & Workfront Capability
- Own Adobe Workfront as the workflow system of record
- Embed disciplined usage, data quality and sustained adoption
- Design and implement scalable end‑to‑end workflows (intake → optimisation)
Performance, Governance & Decision Support
Provide clear visibility of delivery performance (throughput, cycle time, bottlenecks,
compliance)
Deliver trusted, decision‑ready reporting and dashboards to support prioritisation and
trade‑offs
- Embed governance and compliance by design within workflows
- Coordinate board and executive reporting and associated deliverables across the team.
- Manage the monthly budget reconciliation process
- Lead key supplier management relationships from a procurement perspective.
Planning Operationalisation & Delivery Discipline
Embed the B&CE planning rhythm - annual/quarterly planning operationalisation,
prioritisation cadence, trade-off rhythm so that strategy becomes executable work with
clear sequencing and governance‑ready reporting.
Translate strategy and planning outputs into structured execution through workflows,
portfolio views, dependency management and WIP controls.
Support leaders with visibility of delivery readiness, risks and trade‑offs to improve
predictability and outcomes.
Change, Enablement & Continuous Improvement
Embed new ways of working through targeted enablement, reinforcement and
coaching, supporting value realisation of Adobe Workfront.
Drive continuous improvement through structured enablement, reporting and workflow
optimisation - manage triage, issue resolution, documentation and enhancement
backlog in partnership with MarTech.
Translate the team’s AI ambition into practical ways of working, prioritising use cases,
embedding governance and enabling adoption that improves impact and quality.
Embed practical AI‑enabled ways of working that improve efficiency, quality and speed,
with appropriate governance
Your Capability and Experience
Experience in marketing operations or team change within complex, fast‑paced
environments, with a focus on improving effectiveness.
Strong execution capability, translating strategic priorities into practical, adoptable
ways of working.
Experience designing and embedding disciplined, end‑to‑end workflows and
performance reporting at scale.
- Adobe Workfront expertise (or equivalent) highly desirable.
Strong analytical mindset, using workflow and delivery data to surface risks, insights
and decision support.
Experience embedding governance and compliance by design in regulated
environments.
Working knowledge of AI‑enabled ways of working, a curiosity to use it to improve
productivity and quality with appropriate controls.
- Strong stakeholder management
A proactive, solutions‑oriented self‑starter who identifies issues, drives improvement
and delivers outcomes with minimal direction
- A collaborative team player who can work effectively across teams, models constructive behaviours positively contributes building a strong team dynamic.
