Your Team
The Senior Manager, Data and Risk Insights lead the design and delivery of reporting and analytics tools that provide timely, actionable insights to reduce organisational risk and strengthen governance. As part of the Risk Transformation team, this role partners with senior leaders and stakeholders across the organisation to influence strategic decisions, embed data-driven practices, and uplift compliance maturity through the effective use of data.
By leveraging advanced analytics and visualisation, the role supports risk transformation, fosters transparency, and drives continuous improvement to enable sustainable governance and better business outcomes.
This role reports into the Executive Director of Risk Transformation.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead the development and delivery of risk insights and analytics, enabling proactive risk management and informed decision-making across the organisation.
- Design and maintain robust risk reporting frameworks, ensuring data integrity, timeliness, and compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
- Provide strategic advice and data-driven insights to senior leaders, identifying emerging risks, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
- Drive continuous improvement in risk reporting and analytics, leveraging automation, visualisation tools, and innovative technologies to enhance efficiency and clarity.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and lead a high-performing team, embedding risk insights into governance and strategic planning while fostering a strong compliance culture.
Your Capability and Experience
- Extensive experience in data modelling, development, visualisation, and producing actionable insights, with strong analytical capability to interpret complex risk data.
- Deep understanding of financial services, superannuation and investment value chains, integrated business models, and their application to risk management.
- Proficient in using reporting tools and visualisation platforms to clearly communicate risk trends and support strategic decision-making.
- Skilled in influencing and advising senior stakeholders, embedding risk insights into business strategy, and fostering collaboration across functions.
- Committed to innovation and continuous improvement, leveraging technology and AI to enhance risk and compliance practices.
- Experience in developing “low code” business applications to drive process efficiencies and more consistent data capture.
