Your role at Clorox:

The Marketing Manager for GLAD ANZ is responsible for developing & executing the GLAD business and communications plan leveraging consumer insights, leading cross-functional teams and managing business analysis and reporting. This role plays an integral role executing against the business vision and equity goals.

In this role, you will:

Marketing Manager : in this role, you will be responsible for: 

  • Driving business analysis & owning business fundamentals: Leverage data and custom consumer research & insights to develop brand strategies that will drive sustainable and profitable business growth.
  • Building and executing strategic plan: Develop and execute a three-year consumer-led growth plan that helps deliver the Business Units’s NCS, profit, margin & share targets. This includes sustainability and innovation projects.
  • Owning margin improvement and profit growth initiatives: Support cost-savings pipeline and leverage tools like Net Revenue Management & Price Pack Architecture.
  • Lead breakthrough commercial innovation: Develop & execute the 3 year Innovation domain plan including product & packaging improvements that enhance the brand and drive growth.
  • Business health: Manage A&SP, packaging & research budgets across ANZ
  • Contribute to a positive team culture: Support a purpose-driven culture that embraces IDEA (inclusion, diversity, equity, and allyship)
  • Strong partnership: Work with Sales and Category teams to develop category growth stories that support brand strategy
  • Developing talent: Coach and develop your direct team as well as the cross-functional team with a focus on a growth mindset, analytical thinking, and executing with excellence

What we look for:

Years and Type of Experience Required:

  • Industry & Skill Experience: Minimum of 6 years marketing experience, with a strong capability & track record in FMCG consumer marketing environment
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field

Location Requirement : 

  • In-Person: In office 3 days per week
  • Remote Work: Ability to work across time zones is critical e.g. New Zealand, USA & UK.

  • Strategic Mindset & Thought Leadership: Ability to influence leadership, demonstrating the skill to advance ideas with cross functional teams and senior management.
  • Business Insight and Manages Complexity:  Leverage data to be able to inform decision-making and refine innovation strategies based on real-world feedback and performance metrics.
  • Consumer Focus:  Demonstrates consumer/shopper curiosity with an ability to understand key consumer insights and translate them into compelling recommendations & integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Communicates Effectively: Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and presentation skills, with ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Cultivates Innovation:
    • Execution of innovation strategy
    • Understand and meet consumer needs to create innovations that have a meaningful impact on the target audience
    • Out-of-the-box thinker able to collaborate with functional experts to bring concepts to life
  • Develops Talent, Drives Engagement, Values Differences: 
    • Coach and develop your direct team to meet their career goals and the organisations' goals
    • Coach and develop the cross-functional team and fellow marketers with a focus on a growth mindset, analytical thinking, and execute with excellence
    • Tight-knit collaboration with cross-functional partners and ability to shape purpose-driven culture that embraces IDEA (inclusion, diversity, equity, and allyship) 
    • Team player with ability to influence up and across organization

Workplace type:

Hybrid - 3 days On-site, 2 days WFH
