About the role
We’re looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to lead the planning and delivery of events and webinars for Perpetual Asset Management Australia until the 30th of June 2027. Based in Sydney, this role is part of a high‑performing, collaborative marketing team supporting both B2B and B2C activity across our investment brands.
This is a hands‑on role responsible for end‑to‑end execution of physical events and live webinars, with a strong focus on stakeholder engagement, attendance, lead generation and risk management.
Key responsibilities
Plan and deliver a calendar of physical events (e.g. lunches, cocktail events) to promote Perpetual’s boutique investment brands, investment managers and solutions, including one annual AGM for a listed fund
Produce monthly live webinars using the ON24 platform, including broadcast‑quality studio events and in‑house webinars
Manage all aspects of event and webinar delivery, including:
Developing a 12‑month event schedule in collaboration with sales, portfolio specialists and investment teams
Coordinating logistics for physical events, working with internal teams and external agencies
Supporting content development including presentations and scripts
Managing audience targeting, invitations, registrations and follow‑ups using Adobe Marketo
Promoting events to drive strong attendance and post‑event engagement
Preparing post‑event reporting including engagement metrics and sales leads
Managing events within approved annual budgets
Ensuring adherence to risk and compliance processes, including approvals and documentation
Analyse and optimise event and webinar performance, using data insights to improve engagement and lead quality
Provide ad hoc support for smaller sales events and conference sponsorships
Occasionally support related marketing activity such as email campaigns
About you
You’ll have experience in investment operations or middle office within financial services, with a strong understanding of investment products and operational processes. You’re detail-oriented, proactive and comfortable working across multiple stakeholders.
Proven experience delivering events and live webinars, ideally within financial services
Experience supporting B2B marketing activity
Exposure to ASX shareholder events (such as AGMs) highly regarded
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Experience using marketing platforms such as ON24, Adobe Marketo and Salesforce (or similar)
Understanding of lead generation and marketing qualified leads desirable
Strong attention to detail and risk awareness
