An exciting opportunity for a 12 month contract Paraplanner to join the team providing support and strategic advice to Advisors, Partners and Clients in the Perpetual Wealth Management business.
The wealth management business consists of three distinct brands in addition to Perpetual Private – Fordham, Jacaranda financial planning and Priority Life – offering a unique mix of wealth management, advice and trustee services. With a diverse range of capabilities including strategic advice on superannuation and retirement planning, general investment, asset protection, insurance, tax management, estate planning, aged care, social security, succession planning and philanthropy. Our clients include individuals, families, businesses, not-for-profit organisations and Indigenous communities throughout Australia.
About the role
Collaborate with Advisers, Partners, Associate Advisers & other in-
house specialists to formulate advice & investment strategies that
provide optimal client outcomes.Generate tailored advice documents (SOAs and ROAs) within agreed time frames & service standards.
Meet individual quality and productivity targets.
Prepare financial calculations, modelling and detailed cash flow analysis.
About you
We’re looking for someone with:
DFP or equivalent.
Completed FASEA/RG146 CPD training & development.
Minimum 3 years paraplanning experience.
Previous experience with XPLAN financial planning software.
Experience in the preparation of investment & strategic reviews
including, superannuation consolidation, retirement, personal
insurance, structures, taxation, income streams & cash flow modelling desirable.Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Strong attention to detail
Proactively seek opportunities to create administrative efficiencies & improve internal tools and templates.
Contribute to effective risk and compliance management through
ensuring appropriate measures, controls and activities are taken to fulfil corporate and regulatory compliance.
