About the Role

We are looking for a Partner Solution Engineering Manager to lead a highly skilled team of Partner Solution Engineers that supports our partners. You will also work directly with Snowflake's Partner Management, Sales, Pre-Sales, Marketing, and Services teams to develop initiatives and programs to establish new and strengthen existing Snowflake practices, build relationships between Snowflake and our key partners' technical sales resources, and develop and evangelize service offerings and joint solutions to address customer needs and market opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Partner Solution Engineers who serve as the technical sales leaders and trusted advisors for our partners

  • Collaborate closely with the Partner Management, Sales, Pre-Sales, Marketing, and Services teams and partners to develop initiatives and programs to strengthen our partner’s Snowflake practices and develop service offerings and joint solutions to address customer needs and market opportunities

  • Provide guidance to the Snowflake team on best practices for leveraging Snowflake’s Partner Network to optimize partner engagement

  • Interpret complex problems, create simple solutions, and align with the larger Snowflake team and our partners to deliver winning solutions

  • Play an active role in sourcing and screening potential candidates and managing the interview process

  • Act as a player/coach, taking ownership in key partner engagements while working with your team to provide strategic support and build leadership relationships with our key Partners. This includes developing technical strategies for strategic partners and participating in executive-level partner discussions.

This role requires travel within ANZ and overseas throughout the year to support partner engagement such as enablement, deal support and key marketing events.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of industry experience in a pre-sales/customer facing capacity with 2+ years of direct line management experience (hiring, developing and retaining top talent)

  • Broad range of technical experiences within large-scale AI and data technologies, including practical applications in Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, and Cloud Computing.

  • Understanding of cloud architectures and services involving SaaS solutions with any of the popular cloud providers (Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure)

  • Outstanding presentation skills for both technical and executive audiences, leveraging whiteboards, presentations, and demos effectively

  • Experience architecting solutions with leading data analytics and AI/ML ISV vendor technologies.

  • Hands-on experiences with SQL, Python or development languages, coupled with strong technical skills in data manipulation, warehousing, ETL processes, and analytics.

  • Ability to connect a customer’s specific business problems and Snowflake’s solutions

  • A university degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related fields is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
