Job Description

We are seeking an experienced People & Culture Business Partner to play a pivotal role in partnering with leaders and teams across Bapcor's Specialist Wholesale, Commercial Vehicle Group (CVG) and JAS businesses.

This is a true business partnering role, working closely with operational and functional leaders to deliver people strategies that support performance, engagement and organisational growth. You'll be a trusted advisor to stakeholders, providing practical and commercially focused people solutions across a diverse portfolio of businesses.

As part of a collaborative and high-performing People & Culture team, you'll help drive key initiatives across organisational design, workforce planning, leadership capability, employee relations and change management, ensuring our people strategy supports both our teams and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted People & Culture partner to leaders across our Wholesale, Commercial Vehicle Group (CVG) and JAS businesses, delivering people initiatives that enhance team member experience and support business performance.
  • Partner with business leaders to implement people strategies, workforce planning initiatives, organisational design changes and capability programs aligned to business objectives.
  • Provide expert advice and coaching on employee relations, performance management, workplace investigations, policy interpretation and employment legislation.
  • Support organisational change initiatives, helping leaders navigate business transformation, communication and team effectiveness.
  • Build leadership capability by coaching leaders on people management practices, talent development, succession planning and employee engagement.
  • Analyse workforce trends, people metrics and insights to proactively identify opportunities and risks and inform decision-making.
  • Champion an inclusive, high-performing and psychologically safe workplace culture aligned to Bapcor's values.

Qualifications

You are a trusted HR advisor with deep experience in P&C business partnering You bring:

  • Strategic mindset with the ability to execute with precision and pragmatism
  • Exceptional communication, influencing and relationship-building skills
  • Comfort managing ambiguity and acting as a key driver of change
  • A collaborative, customer-focused and commercially astute approach
