What might your days look like

Based in either AU or SG based, the ideal candidate will likely have a current role in a media agency or possess relevant client experience, preferably in a role such as a Performance Marketing Exec, Paid Social specialist/coordinator or another junior position within paid media.
In this role, you will be responsible for executing paid social media, display advertising and other performance channels across all regions. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that deliver on the objectives agreed for each of our flywheel OKRS. You will help us transform our business from SaaS to Employment As A Service (Empass) and increase our velocity towards our Big Hairy Audacious Goal (BHAG).
This is a unique opportunity for someone adept at both creative thinking and result analysis, thriving in a fast-paced marketing role. As a key player within the team, you'll contribute not only to the marketing team's success but also to the overall success of Employment Hero.
As a Performance Marketing Specialist, you’ll be responsible for:
- Plan, execute, and optimize paid search campaigns across various platforms including Google Ads, Bing Ads, and other search engines.
- Setting up, delivering, optimising and evaluating campaigns across paid social channels (primarily LinkedIn & Meta) with scope to grow and develop across paid search & other programmatic channels
- Tackling daily marketing challenges and hands-on problem-solving in a supportive team environment
- Launching and optimising campaigns across multiple platforms (e.g. Meta, LinkedIn, Reddit)
- Conduct thorough keyword research to identify opportunities and trends, ensuring our campaigns are targeting the most effective keywords.
- Create compelling ad copy that drives clicks and conversions while adhering to brand guidelines.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, generating regular reports and providing actionable insights to improve results.
- Manage and allocate budgets effectively to ensure optimal use of resources and maximum return on investment.
- Staying abreast of emerging digital and social trends, platforms, and features to drive strategy
- There will be opportunities to grow and learn other performance channels including Paid Social (Primarily Linkedin and Meta) and programmatic video
What you will bring:
- Ideally, 2+ years of experience in digital marketing or agency roles, specifically working on paid search campaigns
- Proven experience in managing and optimizing performance marketing campaigns
- Strong understanding of Lead Gen activities, including strategy, delivery, and measurement
- Creative problem solver and critical thinker with meticulous attention to detail
- Proficient in numerical, written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable explaining ideas, taking briefs, and participating in brainstorming sessions
- Efficient team player with the ability to work independently and meet agreed-upon deadlines
- Growth mindset, eager to learn and contribute to company OKRs
- Organized and detail-oriented, strong multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
- Data-literate and confident in decision-making using a data-driven approach
Additional Preferences:
- Up-to-date expert knowledge of the Google Ads product
- Desire to broaden digital expertise with a focus on performance marketing
- Content marketing and creative mindset
- Goal-oriented and resourceful, good interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams (Brand & Content, Creative)
- Self-starter with a proactive attitude towards achieving results
- Bonus: Google Ads or Facebook Ads certification
- Bonus: Experience with TikTok
- Bonus: Experience with Datorama (beneficial but not essential)
- Bonus: Experience with Salesforce, Marketo, or other CRM systems (beneficial but not essential)
