Your Team
The Platform Optimisation Specialist is part of CFS’s Distribution business unit which is accountable for all sales across the Wealth Management market (Investment and Asset Consultants, 3rd Party Intermediaries, Licensees and Advisers). Products consist of the ‘Edge’ wrap platform, FirstChoice, Investments and Corporate Super.
This opportunity is within the Sales, Strategy & Adviser Services team, a national function focused on enabling adviser success through platform enablement, sales strategy and adviser support programs.
Your Responsibilities
- You will work closely with the BDM, RM and New Business roles to support a combination of dedicated technical training responsibilities, ensuring platform readiness, increasing adviser confidence and supporting practices who transition clients to CFS.
- Provide technical training, coaching and guidance to drive retention and growth opportunities across clients in metropolitan and regional locations.
- Provide a combination of virtual and onsite training in various forums (1:1 or groups) to ensure the utilisation and effectiveness of CFS platforms in clients’ practices is maximised.
- As the subject matter expert, you will be a primary contact point for technical, operational and service issues arising from CFS platforms to increase efficiency, identify opportunities for improvements and enhance service experience of new and existing clients.
- Provide insights, market intelligence and frontline feedback on CFS platforms with engagement with peers across Distribution, and key stakeholders across CFS to ensure the CFS platforms are market leading.
- Refer and assist sales activity of specialist offerings within the CFS product suite and report monthly on business activity, campaigns and market related information.
Your Capability and Experience
Solid experience in the Financial Services industry that will have provided you with an understanding of investment structures, funds management and Wrap Platforms
Excellent interpersonal / communication skills and presentation skills
Strong technical knowledge of superannuation and investment structures
Highly self-motivated with the ability to operate without supervision on a proactive basis
Knowledge of the advice process and obligations of an adviser will be well regarded
Deep knowledge of CFS platforms offered and a willingness to enhance this understanding
RG146 qualified, or committed to obtain this qualification within six months of commencement
A valid Driver’s License is essential for this role
