Your day at NTT DATA

The Principal Marketing Specialist, Industry & ABM Programs, ANZ plays a key role in driving revenue growth through the development and execution of Account-Based Marketing (ABM) and industry marketing programs across Australia and New Zealand. Working closely with regional and global stakeholders, you will lead strategic 1:1 ABM initiatives for key accounts, oversee industry-focused marketing programs, and ensure alignment between global strategy and local execution. You will act as a subject matter expert in ABM and industry marketing while contributing to pipeline growth, stakeholder engagement, and team development.

This position is offered on a 6-month contract basis, providing an opportunity to make a significant impact on strategic marketing initiatives across the ANZ region.

Key responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage strategic 1:1 ABM and 1: Few industry marketing programs aligned with business priorities.
  • Collaborate with country marketing teams, Campaign Centres of Excellence, and global ABM and industry teams to drive successful program execution.
  • Manage a portfolio of strategic ANZ accounts and lead an APAC industry program, demonstrating best-practice delivery.
  • Ensure the consistent application of global ABM and industry marketing methodologies across the region.
  • Drive continuous improvement of operating models, governance frameworks, and program scalability.
  • Monitor and report on program performance, pipeline contribution, and marketing impact across relationship, reputation, and revenue metrics.
  • Build strong partnerships with business leaders, sales teams, account teams, and marketing stakeholders.
  • Communicate results, best practices, and recommendations to senior leadership and global teams.
  • Identify opportunities to maximise content reuse, improve ROI, and accelerate program execution.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the ANZ ABM and Industry Marketing team.
  • Manage program budgets, forecasts, vendors, and resource allocation to deliver measurable business outcomes.

To thrive in this role, you will have:

  • Strong knowledge of Account-Based Marketing methodologies, including 1:1, 1: Few, and 1: Many approaches.
  • Experience developing and executing industry-focused marketing initiatives within a B2B environment.
  • Strong commercial acumen and an understanding of business growth drivers and client engagement strategies.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
  • The ability to lead through influence within a matrixed organisation and collaborate across multiple teams and geographies.
  • Strong program management, organisational, and analytical capabilities.
  • A results-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business requirements.
  • Experience working across diverse cultures and international markets.

Academic qualifications and certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related discipline.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • ABM certifications or other industry-recognised marketing accreditations are advantageous.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development in digital marketing, client engagement, business development, or industry marketing.

Required experience:

  • Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in B2B marketing.
  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience in Account-Based Marketing (ABM).
  • Proven success delivering ABM and industry marketing programs within technology, consulting, or professional services organisations.
  • Experience leading cross-regional or multi-country marketing initiatives within a matrixed environment.
  • Experience using multi-channel engagement strategies, behavioural insights, intent data, and predictive analytics to drive client engagement.
  • Strong understanding of marketing measurement frameworks and their impact on relationship, reputation, and revenue outcomes.
