About this role
As the Product Manager, you will be responsible for leading market analysis to identify new product opportunities, concept development and enhancements to the existing portfolio - ensuring alignment with better risk strategy.
The objective is to develop compelling PHI products which meet the needs of our target segments, provide them with value for money, whilst ensuring that nib can meet its commercial and customer objectives.
All products need to remain strictly within the bounds of the relevant legislation and ensure transparency for member comprehension. The Product Manager is key to achieving this across its portfolio responsibilities, which may span the nib brand, international, white label partner or corporate health businesses.
About you
The ideal candidate brings proven experience in a comparable role within a high-performing, results driven product environment.
You bring a strong commercial mindset and a deeply customer‑centric approach. You excel in collaborative environments and consistently use data‑driven insights to inform decisions. You champion a product‑led mindset and ensure that customer needs remain at the core of your work.
Experience in highly regulated sectors—such as financial services or insurance—is strongly valued.
Furthermore, we’re looking for:
Relevant degree qualification in a related discipline and/or equivalent industry experience
Ability to work within a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment
A high level of analytical and interpretive skills
Ability to balance and lead multiple tasks simultaneously and still meet deadlines
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Sound commercial judgement
