Overview of the role

We’re looking for a sharp, strategic and technically confident Product Marketing Manager to help drive the next wave of growth for our advanced navigation technologies.
This role is responsible for developing the messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategies across our portfolio of deep tech products – spanning inertial navigation, photonics, acoustics, GPS/GNSS, and enabling software systems. You’ll shape how these complex technologies are communicated to the market, influencing both commercial uptake and technical credibility across our Industrial and Marine sectors.
As the key connector between Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing, you’ll lead efforts to understand market needs, translate them into differentiated messaging, and activate across both account-based engagement strategies and broad marketing channels.
We are searching for someone who can dive deep into technical details without losing sight of the big picture, and who can balance high-level strategy with hands-on delivery. If you're comfortable in a global B2B environment and passionate about bringing complex technology stories to life, this is your role.

Role and responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership:
  • In partnership with Product develop the go-to-market strategy for a suite of advanced technology products.
  • Create positioning and messaging frameworks that align with business objectives and resonate with specific customer segments.
  • Drive the marketing narrative and content required to support both highly targeted account-based activities and broader demand generation programs.
  • Translate technical product features into compelling, customer-centric value propositions.
  • Support pricing and packaging strategy through market insights and value analysis.

  • Account-Based & Broad Marketing Integration:
  • Partner with the Sales and Growth teams to align product messaging with account-based engagement (ABE) strategies.
  • Contribute to target account planning by identifying commercial narratives that fit specific verticals and buyer personas.
  • Ensure product messaging is consistently deployed across outbound, digital, event-based, and partner marketing activities.
  • Support development of sales enablement materials tailored to both technical buyers and executive decision-makers.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with Product Management to inform and shape roadmap priorities based on customer and competitive insights.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Technical Support to ensure messaging accuracy and alignment with real-world product performance.
  • Partner with the Content, Digital, and Communications teams to bring the product story to life across paid, owned, and earned channels.
  • Equip the Sales team with tools, materials, and training to effectively position and sell our products.

  • Market & Customer Intelligence:
  • Conduct customer and competitor research to understand the evolving needs of the market and where we can win.
  • Monitor trends, buying behaviours, and market dynamics in key sectors such as industrial automation, defence, aerospace, and autonomous systems.
  • Identify white space opportunities and inform commercial strategy through structured insights and analysis.

  • Campaign Support & Performance:
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of multi-channel campaigns by providing product-centric content and technical input.
  • Measure and analyse the impact of marketing efforts on lead generation, funnel velocity, and product adoption.
  • Optimise messaging and campaign tactics based on performance data and field feedback.

Qualification, Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or  in Marketing, communications, or business strategy — whether formal or through recognized short-form executive courses
  • Qualifications in Engineering, Physics, or a related technical or scientific field are advantageous.
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar B2B Product Marketing role within a technology-led or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of marketing complex, technical products to professional audiences, particularly where multiple decision-makers are involved in the buying process.
  • Experience delivering marketing programs across both account-based strategies and broad-based demand generation channels.
  • Exposure to international markets and varied commercial models (direct, channel, OEM, integrator) is beneficial.
  • Background in navigation, sensing, robotics, autonomous systems, or embedded technology preferred.
  • Strategic thinking and ability to simplify complex information into compelling messaging.
  • Deep familiarity with B2B go-to-market planning and execution.
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills – verbal, written, and visual.
  • Commercial and customer-oriented mindset with a strong grasp of business metrics.
  • Confidence working cross-functionally across product, engineering, sales, and brand teams.
  • Skilled in using tools such as CRM, CMS, analytics platforms, and collaborative marketing systems.
  • Understanding of technical marketing in regulated or safety-critical industries.
  • Exposure to product marketing in early-stage or fast-growth environments.
  • Knowledge of the typical buying group dynamics in industrial and defence sectors.
