We are looking for candidates only from Sydney as this is an onsite customer facing role.

We are looking for a Senior Agile Project Manager who will:

  • Be responsible for end-to-end project management of assigned project from initiation to project closure.
  • This role is customer-facing and must support the client Implementations for the Delivery organisation.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets for assigned project.
  • Produce sprint plans and/or Agile releases (release trains) with the delivery team.
  • Be proactive in identifying & managing project risks/issues with appropriate mitigation plans.
  • Work closely with Scrum Masters, Test Managers, Architects, developers & agile delivery teams to ensure timely execution of all features and functionality.
  • Project management solutions for clients taking full delivery ownership and embedding both agile SCRUM, SaFe Agile practices and waterfall delivery methodologies into our project delivery approach.
  • Provide overall leadership to entire project team, including overseeing other functional team leaders.
  • Create and manage the estimates, project plan, project schedule, resource allocation and expenses to ensure targets are reached.
  • Ensure that customer deadlines are met within project budgets and agreed timelines.
  • Plan and integrate the work of multiple teams on a project.
  • Identify issues and risks in a timely manner and develops/implements appropriate mitigation and contingency plans.
  • Report project status to both internal CSG and customer organisations in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Communicate with internal/external clients to determine specific requirements and expectations; manage client expectations as an indicator of quality, perform timely escalations.

Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who has:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of project management experience working for mainstream consulting or professional services organisations.
  • PMP, Agile or Scrum Master, SaFe Agile certifications
  • A background in the IT, Banking or Telecommunications industry, as well as a wholesale or reseller business, is preferred.
  • In-depth understanding of customer needs and the general impact of changes in business environment and industry trends. In-depth understanding of the client’s industry.
  • Ability to understand and anticipate the client’s needs and provide consultancy as required.
  • Ability to execute project plans and implementation plans simultaneously.
  • Specialised project management skills to plan, monitor, and track projects to meet the target KPIs.
  • Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and diagnose complex problems.
