We are looking for a Project Manager to join us on a 12-month max term contract to support new regulatory changes we need to make as a business.

What will you be doing?

  • Reviewing and responding to relevant regulatory issues, providing advice and establishing processes when required and determining project resourcing requirements and managing development and implementation of project artefacts on a day-to-day basis.

  • Working with cross functional teams across RAC to determine solutions and an approach to meet business requirements and objectives whilst designing and developing strategies and processes, in consultation with stakeholders, which will support the implementation of the project

  • Controlling and managing the project schedule, scope, budget, issues, risks and dependencies and where project dependencies are identified working with relevant departments to ensure plans can be carried out effectively and dependencies are resolved

  • Proactively identifying risks to the delivery of project outcomes and developing and implementing mitigations required to ensure completion of project within agreed timeframes and budget

  • Developing and managing regular project status reporting and presentations for the project Steering Committee, including recommendations to support effective decision-making by developing and maintaining strict project plans and reporting documentation as necessary to ensure timely communication and successful delivery of the project, including highlight and exception reports.

What are we looking for in you?

  • Ability to effectively lead a project team and manage relationships with stakeholders at all levels in various forums

  • Demonstrated experience in managing projects in an operational/service delivery environment is mandatory.

  • Process-re-engineering and business improvement experience is desirable.

  • Experience in waterfall and agile project methodologies is highly desirable

  • Qualifications in project management e.g. Prince2, Agile, MSP is highly desirable
