Plenti is a fintech lender, providing faster, fairer loans by leveraging its smart technology. Plenti is a dynamic and innovative business that is growing strongly. By continuing to deliver better customer experiences, Plenti is taking market share from incumbent players in the personal lending, renewable energy, and automotive finance markets.
We are a fast moving and ambitious business that seeks to recruit smart and capable people, who can take ownership of their role to help the business thrive. With over 250 people based in Australia, Plenti is of a size where everyone can make a difference in their role and help us realise our very big ambitions as a team, as we go about building Australia’s best lender.
Plenti is a founder led business that launched in 2014, listed on the ASX since 2020 with annual revenue of over $250 million and a loan portfolio of over $3 billion.

About the role:
As Plenti continues to grow, we’re inviting expressions of interest from talented professionals who are interested in future Relationship Manager opportunities.

As a Relationship Manager, you’ll build and grow a portfolio of broker relationships, driving engagement, utilisation and origination across Plenti’s Consumer or Commercial finance products. You’ll work closely with a Business Development Manager to identify and develop high-potential broker relationships, support active deal pipelines and help grow Plenti’s share of wallet across the broker network.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong foundation in sales or account management who is ready to take the next step in their career and develop their expertise in finance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build trusted, long-term relationships with our broker network and identify opportunities to increase engagement and utilisation across Plenti’s finance products
  • Develop targeted strategies to grow Plenti’s share of wallet and position us as a trusted partner across a broad range of lending needs
  • Partner closely with your Business Development Manager to identify and onboard high-potential brokers, creating a positive experience from day one
  • Work alongside your BDM to manage deal pipelines, keep opportunities moving and deliver a responsive, high-quality experience for brokers
  • Identify opportunities to deepen existing relationships and introduce brokers to the breadth of Plenti’s lending proposition
  • Collaborate with credit, operations, marketing and wider teams to solve challenges, support brokers and continually improve the broker experience

About you:
You’re a relationship-focused professional who enjoys building strong connections, creating value for customers and achieving strong commercial outcomes. You’re proactive, organised and comfortable taking ownership, while also knowing when to collaborate with others. You’re curious, commercially minded and enjoy finding ways to create better outcomes for customers.
You will have:
  • 3+ years’ experience in sales, account management or financial services, preferably within third-party intermediary channels or broker environments
  • A track record of achieving sales targets and delivering strong commercial outcomes
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • The ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team
  • A genuine interest in developing your career in  finance
  • Knowledge of financial lending products and/or credit risk underwriting is advantageous, but not essential

Why consider a future opportunity with Plenti?
Join a growing business where you’ll be supported to learn, develop and build your career in lending. You’ll work alongside experienced colleagues, gain exposure to a broad range of lending solutions and build relationships across the industry.

As you grow into the Relationship Manager role, you’ll have the opportunity to take on new challenges, make an impact and shape your career with Plenti.

If you’re interested in a future opportunity, we’d love to hear from you. We’ll review expressions of interest and reach out to people we’d like to connect with to learn more about your experience, career goals and what you’re looking for next — even before a specific role becomes available.

Please note: This is an Expression of Interest for potential future opportunities and does not relate to a specific current vacancy.
