Own and drive fortnightly platform releases across backend (Node.js/EKS), web (Next.js), and mobile (React Native/Expo). Improve and automate release processes, manage mobile store releases, coordinate multi-tenant AWS deployments, validate release gates, monitor release health, and execute rollbacks when needed.
Constantinople is the first of its kind: an all-in-one software and operational platform for banks. We provide our banking clients with a cloud-native infrastructure to host and manage their customers. We offer a comprehensive suite of banking products, together with all operational services needed to run a bank efficiently.
Constantinople’s state-of-the-art platform eliminates the need for expensive infrastructure, and replaces manual operational and compliance processes with automation at scale. By removing the operational complexity of banking, Constantinople enables its clients to focus on its customers and the business of banking.
The Role
As a Release Engineer in the SRE team, you will own and drive our platform release operations in the APAC timezone. You will execute and orchestrate fortnightly platform releases working closely with the Release Manger. Improve and automate the release process. Strengthen reliability across backend, web, and mobile deployments and scale release governance across multiple tenants.
We already have automations in place, your role is to improve it by removing manual gaps, reduce risk, and improve repeatability as we scale. You will work with the SRE Squad, but you will also work closely with the other teams to ensure safe, predictable releases across environments.
What You’ll Do
- Drive fortnightly, and in the future weekly, platform releases across the Cxnpl platform: backend (Node.js, EKS), web (Next.js), and mobile (React Native / Expo)
- Own mobile app release processes for iOS and Android
- Coordinate deployment across multiple AWS environments and tenants
- Ensure all release artefacts, versioning, feature flags, and configurations are correct per the release runbook
- Validate sign-offs and release readiness gates
- Monitor release health and manage rollback plans when required
Who You Are
- 5+ years in release engineering, DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering roles
- Experience managing releases in complex multi-environment systems
- Hands-on experience with mobile app release processes (Google Play & Apple App Store)
- Strong experience with AWS infrastructure and deployment workflows
- Experience improving release processes and building custom automation
- Comfortable writing scripts and tooling (Node.js, TypeScript, Bash, or similar)
- Experience with CI/CD systems and pipeline design
- Bias toward automation over manual coordination
- Comfortable working in regulated or high-reliability environments
- Able to operate independently in the APAC timezone
