Position Overview:  

Would you like to be the first instrumental step in the sales cycle bringing an industry-leading product to organisations? Our Sales Development Representative position role will give you exactly that! This is an exciting opportunity to join a market leading and rapidly growing function, highly focused on achieving goals and delivering results. The role offers an excellent basic and competitive commission structure, with high achievers given the opportunity to progress within the business becoming an expert in corporate software. 

As a Diligent Sales Development Representative, you’ll play a key role in prospecting new business for the company. 

Key Responsibilities  

  • Key Performance Indicator (KPI) driven environment where you will learn and master both the art and science of Inside Sales strategies 
  • Reach out to leads to convey Diligent’s value proposition 
  • Generate new business opportunities through professional, dedicated prospecting via cold calling, email, and LinkedIn outreach 
  • Collaborate with marketing to have a truly joint up strategy to identifying and acquiring new prospects for Diligent 
  • Skillfully build interest and create opportunities with new prospects 
  • Drive sales growth by generating pipeline and securing product demos for the sales team to close 
  • Consistently achieve and exceed monthly quotas and goals 

Required Experience/Skills  

  • You want to win, and you find motivation in temporary setbacks 
  • You don’t believe in settling, you find ways to overachieve and keep improving 
  • You are driven to learn and improve constantly 
  • A natural curiosity and competitive spirit 
  • An interest in emerging SaaS technologies 
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with senior level executives
