About Dispensed

At Dispensed, we are passionate about empowering individuals to reach their full potential by supporting better health outcomes. We believe that access to innovative and alternative therapies can transform lives. Through our telehealth platform, we facilitate patient access to affordable, efficient, and reliable alternative medicine services across Australia, NZ and the UK.

About The Role

Dispensed is building the data platform that powers clinical, commercial, and operational decisions across Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom. As a Senior Analytics Engineer, you will sit at the intersection of data engineering and analytics, owning the models, pipelines, and analytical outputs that enable the business to make confident decisions.

This is not a role focused solely on building infrastructure or answering business questions. You will design reliable, scalable data models and transformation layers while also partnering closely with stakeholders to solve complex business problems using data. Your work will determine not only what data is available, but whether it is trusted, understandable, and

actionable.

You will help define how analytics engineering is practised at Dispensed, establishing modelling standards, improving data quality, mentoring others, and ensuring our data platform scales as the business grows. If you enjoy combining technical engineering with analytical thinking and want genuine ownership over both, this is that role.

What You'll Own

Design, build and maintain scalable data models and transformation pipelines in dbt and BigQuery, including pipeline orchestration and scheduling, to support reporting, experimentation and self-service analytics across the business.

Lead end-to-end delivery of complex data initiatives, from understanding business requirements through to designing data models, building pipelines, validating outputs and delivering insights.

Partner with Product, Clinical, Commercial and Engineering teams to understand the decisions they are trying to make, challenge assumptions where appropriate, and translate business problems into robust analytical solutions.

Design and review the data models and measurement frameworks required for A/B tests, pilots and new product initiatives, ensuring experiments are measurable, statistically sound and actionable.

Identify and resolve systemic data quality, modelling and pipeline issues, implementing testing, monitoring and documentation that improves trust in the data platform.

Develop semantic models and metrics that provide consistent definitions across the business and reduce duplicated analytical effort.

Communicate complex technical and analytical findings to senior and non-technical stakeholders, clearly explaining recommendations, trade-offs, limitations and uncertainty.

Mentor analysts and engineers on SQL, dbt, BigQuery, data modelling and analytical best practices while contributing to shared standards, documentation and code review.

Proactively identify the highest-value opportunities for improving Dispensed's data platform and analytical capability, ensuring work aligns with strategic priorities across all markets.

What You’ll Need

  • 6+ years in analytics, analytics engineering or a related data role.
  • Advanced SQL and experience working with large, complex datasets.
  • Strong experience building scalable, reliable data models and analytics datasets.
  • Ability to solve ambiguous, high-impact problems and own projects end-to-end.
  • Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence senior audiences.
  • Experience with data quality, testing, documentation and governance.
  • Clear communication skills and ability to translate data into actionable business outcomes.
Highly Valued
  • Experience in healthcare or regulated environments.
  • Experience partnering with Product, Clinical, Commercial or Operations teams.
  • Experience with dbt and modern data warehouses such as Snowflake or BigQuery.
  • Proficiency with Python/R and BI tools such as Looker or Tableau.
  • Experience with experimentation and A/B testing.
