We're looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our Business Analysis Practice and play a pivotal role in delivering critical technology and cyber security initiatives.

This is an opportunity to work on high-profile programs that strengthen security, improve resilience, and enhance the way technology supports the business. You'll partner with Product Owners, Sponsors, Architects, Security specialists and delivery teams to turn complex requirements into clear, actionable outcomes.

What you'll be doing

As a Senior Business Analyst, you'll be responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions by:

  • Partnering with business and technology stakeholders to understand, analyse and define requirements.
  • Creating high-quality user stories, business requirements and process documentation that support successful delivery outcomes.
  • Facilitating workshops and stakeholder discussions to drive alignment, prioritisation and informed decision-making.
  • Translating complex processes and technical concepts into clear, visual models and business rules.
  • Supporting technology and cyber security transformation initiatives from discovery through to implementation.
  • Contributing to RFP and RFQ activities, including requirements gathering, evaluation criteria and vendor assessments.
  • Helping shape Target Operating Models that enable future-state ways of working.

What you'll bring

We're looking for a Senior Business Analyst with experience delivering within technology and cyber security environments, including exposure to:

  • Network Security
  • Next-Generation Firewalls
  • Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA)
  • Web Application Firewalls (WAF)
  • API Security

You'll also bring:

  • Experience supporting RFP and RFQ development and vendor selection processes.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills across technical and business audiences.
  • Experience working with Security, Infrastructure, Network, Architecture and Procurement teams.
  • Knowledge of cyber security controls, governance and risk management practices.
  • The ability to simplify complexity and create clarity for delivery teams and stakeholders alike.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • IIBA® or similar industry standard certification preferred.

Required experience, understanding or credentials including:

  • Business domain knowledge in superannuation or financial services desirable
  • Ability to understand business functionality, business complexity and interdependencies
  • Ability to develop compelling business cases with accurate cost and effort estimations
  • Highly developed strategic, analytical, problem solving, issues management and evaluation skills to deliver innovative solutions
