Your New Role
Join AustralianSuper's Investment Group Delivery team as a Senior Business Analyst supporting key initiatives across Private Markets. In this role, you'll partner with business, technology and external stakeholders to deliver solutions that enhance investment platforms, processes and services. Working across complex projects and initiatives, you'll play a critical role in analysing business needs, shaping future-state solutions and driving outcomes that support the continued evolution of our investment capabilities. Based on the Business Analysis Practice, you'll contribute to strategic change initiatives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
In This Role, You Will:
- Partner with stakeholders across Investments, Technology and Delivery teams to gather, analyse and document business requirements.
- Translate complex business needs into clear user stories, process maps, functional requirements and solution designs.
- Support the delivery of Private Markets initiatives, ensuring outcomes align with business objectives and operational needs.
- Facilitate workshops, stakeholder discussions and decision-making forums to drive alignment and solution development.
- Analyse current-state processes and systems, identifying opportunities for improvement and future-state enhancements.
Work closely with project managers and delivery teams to manage dependencies, risks and impacts throughout the project lifecycle.
What You’ll Need:
- Significant experience as a Senior Business Analyst within investment management, private markets or alternative assets environments.
- Strong capability in requirements gathering, business process analysis, data analysis and process modelling.
- Proven experience translating business requirements into deliverable solutions across complex technology and business change initiatives.
- Knowledge of investment operations and workflows across front, middle and back-office functions, including areas such as reconciliations, settlements, corporate actions and reporting.
- Experience and knowledge working on iLEVEL Portfolio Management and Reporting System
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, workshop facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced and complex environments.
