About the role

The Credit and Collections team is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join their team based in the Melbourne Office. You will work closely with the Product Owner, Functional Architects and delivery partners to bridge the gap between business and technical requirements, with the goal of deploying and embedding a modern SaaS decisioning platform into the AGL Customer Markets architecture.

You will be responsible for the end-to-end elicitation, management and deployment of business and technical requirements within the workstream. Throughout the program you will be responsible (in collaboration with the Product Owner) for backlog management, refinement and prioritisation, as well as working across the program to identify, document and prioritise dependencies for planned releases.

This role works closely with delivery partners to ensure cohesion across system dependencies - including the documentation of processes, requirements and technical considerations, and overseeing test outputs to ensure minimal defects throughout the development lifecycle.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Facilitate collaboration with stakeholders to drive the definition of objectives and requirements, influencing where appropriate to ensure best practice

  • Confidently facilitate discovery and requirements elicitation workshops, eliciting business, stakeholder, functional, non-functional and transition requirements

  • Undertake As-Is and To-Be process mapping, ensuring end-to-end process integrity is maintained across multiple systems and business capabilities

  • Document detailed requirements with supporting acceptance criteria scenarios

  • Facilitate estimation, prioritisation and planning workshops, identifying and managing inter-team, inter-release and other external dependencies

What you’ll bring:

  • A solid understanding of Australian energy regulations and the regulatory environment in which Credit & Affordability operates

  • Multiple instances of proficiently delivering complex, large initiatives end-to-end in a scaled agile environment

  • Strong understanding of enterprise Credit and Collections and decisioning engines, logic and processing

  • Ability to balance multiple competing priorities and effectively manage expectations

  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills with a focus on detail and quality documentation.

If you are interested in this role or have any further questions, please submit your application or reach out to me directly.
