THE OPPORTUNITY

As we expand, our Technology team is growing rapidly, driving innovation in AI for Workers Compensation. We're transforming the industry with cutting-edge solutions that enhance claims management, improve outcomes, and streamline processes.

As a Business Analyst within our RPA team, you’ll play a key role in driving the sustainability and growth of EML’s automation program. With a strong focus on Robotic Process Automation & Artificial, you’ll bridge business needs with technology solutions to ensure the successful delivery of automation initiatives.

This role calls for an agile mindset, a genuine passion for emerging technologies, and a proactive, practical approach to engaging with both business and technology stakeholders. You’ll help shape how we deliver innovative solutions that create meaningful business outcomes.
This will be a full time, permanent based in the Sydney office, with flexibility to work from home up to 3 days per week.
 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead business analysis for automation initiatives, including RPA discovery, process mapping and documentation aligned with UiPath methodologies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify automation opportunities, assess feasibility and evaluate ROI and business impact.
  • Translate business needs into technology, data or process improvements that deliver measurable value.
  • Support AI and ML initiatives by framing business problems and working closely with data scientists and engineers on solutions.
  • Champion automation and AI adoption across the business, driving innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to Agile delivery by supporting sprint planning, user stories, and user acceptance testing.
     

ABOUT YOU

  • Minimum 3 years’ proven experience as a Business Analyst in a fast-paced, commercial environment, with automation or RPA-focused experience highly regarded.
  • UiPath Business Analyst or RPA Developer certifications would be highly regarded.
  • Proficiency in business process modelling, with the ability to document, optimise and break down complex processes into actionable deliverables.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and practical experience in data analysis or model implementation.
  • Strong understanding of the technology development lifecycle, with hands-on experience in agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams and deliver high-quality stakeholder engagement.
