Key tasks in this role will include:

  • Effectively collaborate and provide support to the Fund Managers, Investment Managers, valuations team, tax team, and clients, in the provision of financial reporting, analysis, and advice as required.
  • Deliver on and provide subject matter expertise on the Funds’ quarterly and annual financial reporting obligations. This includes contributing to the successful execution of finance improvement initiatives across the broader Fund Finance team.
  • Manage a team to deliver against the internal and external reporting requirements of the Funds business at a Fund level, ensuring consistency, accuracy and timeliness of financial and non-financial reporting to achieve regulatory and business outcomes.
  • Use strong accounting, treasury and tax skills to fulfil Fund obligations and ensure risk is managed across the Funds and the platform.

To see success, the ideal candidate will have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and technical post tertiary qualifications which include CA or CPA qualifications.

  • Strong experience in financial reporting along with trust and property fund accounting experience

  • Problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to work through issues with high complexity and guide others in the resolution of problems.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate across all levels of the organisation, including internal PCGs and Steering Committees, and external Audit Committees and Boards

  • Ability to identify and implement process improvements and work in a fast paced, dynamic environment.

  • Team player focused on working collaboratively within and across teams.
