Senior Front End Developer

Join our Technology team in Brisbane as a Senior Front End Developer and play a pivotal role in revolutionising our customer experience. You'll be the lead front-end developer building a brand-new, highly configurable, multi-tenant, and scalable form processing system using a third party form processing platform, directly impacting how our customers interact with our products. This is a chance to shape the future of our credit processing platform as we migrate from legacy systems to a cutting-edge global GCP environment.

What you’ll do

• Build a new, highly configurable, multi-tenant, and scalable form processing system leveraging a third-party form building platform.

• Design and implement user-friendly and accessible interfaces that integrate seamlessly with our GCP platform.

• Participate in technology roadmap and architecture discussions to turn business requirements and vision into reality.

• Participate in a tight-knit, globally distributed engineering team.

• Manage sole project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.

• Collaborate on scalability issues involving access to data and information.

• Actively participate in Sprint planning, Sprint Retrospectives, and other team activity

What experience you need  

• 5+ years of software engineering experience

• Significant experience with a modern JavaScript framework such as Angular

• 5+ years experience with Cloud technology: GCP, AWS, or Azure

• Experience designing and developing cloud-native solutions

• Demonstrated ability to design applications for ease of deployment, customer rollout, maintainability and scalability

What could set you apart

• UI development (e.g. HTML, JavaScript, Angular and Bootstrap)

• Experience with Form.io or similar form building platforms.

• Experience with backend technologies such as JAVA/J2EE, SpringBoot, SOA and Microservices could be advantageous in future  

• Source code control management systems (e.g. SVN/Git, Github) and build tools like Maven & Gradle.

• Agile environments (e.g. Scrum, XP)

• Atlassian tooling (e.g. JIRA, Confluence, and Github)

• Experience/Understanding of the Trade Credit Industry
