What will you be doing?

You will partner with leading FMCG organisations to convert complex data into sustained commercial growth. As the lead across a portfolio of health and lifestyle clients, you will bring an advanced understanding of consumer behaviour, category dynamics, and retail purchasing trends to shape growth strategies, unlock new opportunities, and influence senior decision makers.

You will lead insight development from end to end, synthesising market trends, shopper and scan data, into clear, commercially focused narratives. Through confident data storytelling and a consultative approach, you will challenge assumptions, guide strategic direction, and strengthen long term client partnerships. This is a role for someone who thrives on impact, influence, and ownership.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a people leader for one direct report, with a focus on coaching, development, and day to day support
  • Translate complex client business challenges into clearly defined project briefs
  • Lead the delivery of compelling, insight driven recommendations using multiple data sources to drive measurable commercial outcomes and ROI
  • Own and execute strategic account plans, ensuring alignment to client priorities, long term growth objectives, and evolving business needs
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, building effective relationships through thought leadership
  • Identify, develop, and convert new commercial opportunities, positioning Circana’s solutions as integral to client success
  • Oversee contract renewals, invoicing and revenue targets

Requirements

  • 5 or more years of experience in insights, category, or commercial roles within FMCG, retail, or market research
  • Experience within the health and lifestyle sector is highly desirable
  • Strong analytical capability, with the ability to synthesise scan and shopper data into clear, commercially grounded recommendations
  • Confident communicator with advanced presentation and negotiation skills, able to influence and align senior stakeholders across complex organisations
  • Proven consultative, client first approach, with a track record of building trusted, long term partnerships
  • Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to identify, shape, and negotiate growth opportunities that deliver mutual value
  • Experience leading through change, supporting clients to adopt new insights, ways of working, or strategic direction
  • Demonstrated people leadership capability, with experience mentoring, developing, and guiding team members or project resources
  • Highly developed planning and prioritisation skills, maintaining focus and momentum in a fast paced, evolving environment

Circana Behaviours

As well as the technical skills, experience and attributes that are required for the role, our shared behaviours sit at the core of our organisation. Therefore, we always look for people who can continuously champion these behaviours throughout the business within their day-to-day role:

  • Stay Curious: Being hungry to learn and grow, always asking the big questions
  • Seek Clarity: Embracing complexity to create clarity and inspire action
  • Own the Outcome: Being accountable for decisions and taking ownership of our choices
  • Centre on the Client: Relentlessly adding value for our customers
  • Be a Challenger: Never complacent, always striving for continuous improvement
  • Champion Inclusivity: Fostering trust in relationships engaging with empathy, respect and integrity
  • Commit to each other: Contributing to making Circana a great place to work for everyone
