Job DescriptionAt TAL, we’re reimagining how we deliver better outcomes for our customers and partners through meaningful transformation. As Senior Manager, Claims Risk Transformation, you’ll play a pivotal role in helping our most significant change initiatives succeed safely and sustainably. Working at the intersection of risk and transformation, you’ll provide trusted guidance that enables confident decision-making, ensuring innovation and progress are supported by strong risk management practices that protect our business, customers and communities.
In this role you will:
- Partner with transformation leaders to embed risk-informed decision-making across major change programs.
- Guide the safe and sustainable delivery of transformation initiatives through proactive risk management.
- Shape effective controls for new processes, technologies, operating models and AI-enabled solutions.
- Lead AI risk governance to support responsible innovation aligned with regulatory and risk appetite requirements.
- Provide clear risk insights and assurance that enable confident leadership and governance decisions.
- Influence stakeholders across the business to balance delivery outcomes with strong risk discipline.
Qualifications
- Bring experience in operational risk management, ideally within financial services, insurance or another regulated environment.
- Partner effectively with diverse stakeholders, building trusted relationships and influencing outcomes across business, risk and technology teams.
- Apply sound risk judgement to support complex transformation and change initiatives in a practical, solutions-focused way.
- Communicate complex concepts clearly, translating risk and technical information into meaningful insights for different audiences.
- Demonstrate curiosity about emerging technologies, including AI, and a willingness to continuously learn and adapt.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing strong risk discipline with agility, collaboration and commercial pragmatism.
