Job Description

At TAL, this role offers the opportunity to help protect the financial wellbeing of millions of Australians by shaping innovative solutions for some of the country’s largest and most complex organisations. Working at the forefront of the Group Life market, you’ll contribute to meaningful outcomes that build trust, deliver security and drive positive change in the industry. In This Role You Will:

  • Deliver pricing insights and recommendations that support outcomes for a large industry fund
  • Build and maintain pricing models that enable accurate, data-driven decision-making
  • Analyse and validate data to ensure integrity and strengthen pricing accuracy
  • Communicate clear, impactful insights to stakeholders to inform strategy and client outcomes
  • Contribute to reinsurance and product solutions that enhance value and sustainability
  • Improve pricing tools and processes to drive efficiency, consistency and continuous improvement

Qualifications

  • Apply strong analytical thinking to solve problems and deliver clear, well-documented insights
  • Build and interpret pricing and data models using tools like Excel, R or SQL
  • Communicate confidently and clearly to engage stakeholders and build trusted relationships
  • Manage competing priorities effectively while delivering high-quality outcomes on time
  • Demonstrate attention to detail to ensure accuracy and reliability in all work
  • Bring a relevant quantitative background and experience in life insurance to inform sound decision-making
